About the Company

Hivewire is a venture-backed startup building the future of enterprise-grade no code workflows. We believe that business operations professionals should be empowered to build customized workflow applications, without any custom code or technical expertise. We’re passionate about building a beautiful product that allows teams to stop force-fitting processes into off-the-shelf software, and start managing their day-to-day in a way that best suits their needs. Join us to be at the forefront of empowering makers and doers across a wide range of industries to accomplish more.

About You

You will be the first SDR hire at Hivewire, working directly with the founding team who has 10+ years experience with no-code and custom workflow applications. You’ll be doing outbound prospecting alongside the founders and will be a critical part to achieving significant revenue milestones. This takes a special type of entrepreneurial mindset, one that finds ways to hit targets and goals when the “how to get there” is not abundantly clear.

Early stage outbound sales is not for the faint of heart, so if you are looking for a CRM full of inbound leads and a team of marketers enabling your process, then this is not your role. If you are looking to pair your proven track record with a strategic opportunity to shape how a startup identifies leads, prospects into new markets and qualifies sales opportunities, then this could be the accelerator in your sales career that you are looking for.

You love speaking with potential customers and identifying patterns in their workflow pain points. These types of learnings fuel a curiosity to test new outreach methods and ideal customer profiles. You are a process-minded person who holds yourself accountable to goals and deadlines. You are also someone who works well with a team and can take ownership of sales process improvements without having to be told what to do.

The upside of this role is substantial. As we look to grow Hivewire and serve broader and deeper enterprise use cases, your insight and experience as our first SDR will be a key influence in company direction. Join us if you love doing hard things with high upside, and having fun while you’re at it.

What You’ll Do

  • Your main responsibility will be to set demo appointments for the founders and eventual Account Executive hires
  • Reach out to business operations leaders across a number of industries through cold calling, email, LinkedIn and more
  • Own and optimize the utilization of various prospecting tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Apollo/Outreach and ZoomInfo to best identify leads and organize your efforts
  • Strategically develop multiple prospecting plans with the founders/AEs with clear ways to measure success
  • Continually refine and test messaging and prospecting methodologies, proactively reporting on your results and findings
  • Support the development and training of new SDR hires, willfully sharing best practices and offering coaching

What We Look For

  • 1-2 years of relevant outbound sales experience (bonus for experience in SaaS, but not a requirement)
  • A skilled verbal communicator: a direct, clear and a respectful approach to conversation with cold/warm leads
  • Excellent, clear and concise written communication skills
  • Hunger to grow within the Sales org at Hivewire, whether that be in managing others or working towards becoming an Account Executive
  • Always looking to take action, understanding that consistent activity will build a strong and qualified pipeline
  • Ability to work well by yourself, not afraid to take action and learn before waiting for help
  • A no ego teammate: we want you to be aggressive and confident, but we do not tolerate high ego individuals. Teamwork and the ability to take feedback and coaching are key

Benefits

  • Full benefits (medical, dental, vision and life, FSA)
  • Competitive salary + bonus/commissions structure
  • Stock options for full-time employees
